Summer activities
In the surroundings of Kroksjön there are excellent beautiful hiking trails and well-developed forest roads for hiking. There are good mushroom and berry fields. There are plenty of lakes for swimming and outdoor activities nearby. Lake Immeln has a canoe center and fishing opportunities. If you are interested in culture, Wanås Castle has a scenic art park and the Sporrakulla snapphanegården is within easy reach. Within half an hour’s drive there are three golf courses, namely Östra Göinge Golfkubb and Araslövs Golfklubb with its two 18-hole courses. Kristianstad offers culture, food and shopping and Åhus has beautiful beaches and two of Sweden’s leading golf courses.
Winter activities
In winter, there is the possibility of downhill skiing in Vånga and FK Göingarna has ski trails within a few kilometers of Kroksjön.

Kroksjöstugorna is owned by Påarps Gård which is located a couple of km south of the cottages. We, Esbjörn and Rosa, operate a farm with wild animal production with meat breeds, forestry and cottage rentals. We operate an environmentally friendly agriculture to promote biodiversity, natural plants and animal and bird life.
